Once upon a time in Waterloo, Ontario a pink flamingo walked into a house party .....

On a cold January night in 2018, Zach found himself accompanying his friend to a pyjama party at 4 Spring St. Little did he know that the girl with the red lipstick and matching plaid pyjama set would one day become his wife. While that January night, Steff was focused on having fun with her girls, it didn't take long for Zach's charm, humour and infectious smile to lead to a casual exchange of phone numbers and a first date over hot chocolate the very next day.

Although it was quick for Zach to make it official, it did take him losing his phone on a bar crawl in Amsterdam and hearing the next day from his friends that Steff tracked it down from Canada, for him to formally ask her to be his girlfriend.

Since then, we have built our relationship on a foundation of trust, belly laughs, shawarma poutine, and always being one another's biggest cheerleader. Between fireworks festivals, rustic apple picking, moving to Kingston (and back), travelling the world and our own back yard, and simple nights in our cozy apartment, it's the little moments in between it all that we cherish the most.

If the past 7 years have only been the beginning, we cannot wait for all the chapters left unturned as we begin doing life as husband and wife.
